Turn 10 studios has finally decided to bring the curtains down on the fan favorite Forza Motorsport 7. Released in 2017, the game even featured Dubai's Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Ain's Jabal Hafeeth Mountains as one of the race tracks.

A tweet from the official Forza account clarified that this was no easy decision to make but something they had to because the game's licenses to use real-world cars were set to expire soon. Historically, this has been the case with the studios previous games as even Motorsport 6 was delisted a few years after the latter was released.

That doesn't mean it's the end of the world for fans though as back in July 2020 during one of Microsoft's showcase events, the 8th Generation of Motorsport was officially announced, just without a title.

With Forza Horizon 5 just around the corner as one of the biggest releases on Xbox's new generation of consoles, fan won't have to wait too long to zoom through the streets of Mexico when it launches this year in November 2021.
