I've been a Fitbit user for about a decade now. My first ever fitness tracker was the 'Fitbit Flex' which back then was way ahead of its time. So it's fair to say I've seen the brand grow from its humble beginnings to where it is today. There is no doubt that the wearable space has gotten incredibly competitive over the years and most products offer features that are virtually indistinguishable from competing brands.

Not Fitbit though. For someone who has been following the brand all these years, they've been pretty consistent in terms of innovation with every single iteration of their products. Just in the last three years alone, we've seen features like Active Zone Minutes, Daily Readiness Score, Google Assistant, Sleep profiles, Continuous afib tracking, and more get integrated into their products. To top it all off, Fitbit Premium, their flagship subscription service offers extra fitness features like classes and deeper insights into your health to help you achieve your fitness goals faster.

Today after almost two years in the making, Fitbit just unveiled the Sense 2, Versa 4, and Inspire 3 today. These devices are thinner, lighter, and more comfortable than ever before, so you can wear them all day and night without having to worry about charging them so often.

Sense 2

Sense 2 is Fitbit's most advanced health-focused smartwatch with more than six days of battery life that helps you manage stress and track your heart health. It also includes a new Body Response sensor, which measures cEDA for all-day stress management. The sensor will monitor your stress levels or heightened responses throughout the day, prompting you to take action with Body Response notifications.

As far as the design goes, the new Sense 2 is about 10% thinner and 15% lighter than the previous generation. It's been engineered to lower the center of gravity and sit more flush on the wearer's wrist for a more comfortable experience.

Inspire 3

Fitbit's iconic 'Inspire' tracker now comes with a rich color display that can track important metrics at a very affordable price point. Promising up to 10 days of battery life, the new Inspire 3 even at its entry-level price point comes with features like Menstrual Health Tracking, Smart Wake, Smartphone notifications, Spo2 (blood oxygen) tracking, Irregular heart rhythm notifications...the list seems to pretty endless but very impressive.

Versa 4

Firstly, Good news for everybody. The physical button is back making interacting with your wearable so much more intuitive. The new Versa 4 offers over 40 exercise modes, real-time stats, built-in GPS and Active Zone Minutes all with an impressive 6 days of battery life in a thinner and lighter design. The Versa 4 will also sport Fitbit's new user interface which allows you to access all its functionality seamlessly.

From Cardio Fitness Scores to Heart Rate Variability (HRV) tracking, you've got all the features you need to ensure you're on track to achieve your fitness goals. Fitbit over the years has also placed a lot of emphasis on mindfulness hence rest assured, they've got you covered there as well.

Fitbit Premium

Fitbit's newest offerings are just the start of how they can help you uncover information to improve your overall health and wellness. With the Fitbit app, you can stay motivated and on track with weekly and longitudinal stats about your activity, heart health, sleep, and stress. Plus you can log your hydration, menstrual health, mood, nutrition, and glucose levels all in one place. Seeing all of your metrics together can help you better understand how the actions you take each day can impact your well-being and make better decisions for your daily life. Fitbit Premium, which is included with all new device purchases for six months, takes your experience even further with additions like Daily Readiness Score and Sleep Profile to dive deeper into your stats and progress, and over 1,000 workout and mindfulness sessions to keep your mind and body active.
